I stopped counting.....

I don't know what to do with him...he's driving me crazy! BUT he is so dang sweet, when he wants to be...

R: Wahh...wahhhh. whine, whine cry scream...cry scream!

me: Reid! Stop whining, no more crying....
(in my super mean mom voice!)

R: But MOM! Jack took my toy!
(can be substituted through out the day with anything that makes him flip out)
...cry, cry, scream..flailing body, stomping.

me: Calm down...it's not a big deal, just go tell him you weren't done playing with it..

R: wahhhh....wahhhh..WAHHHH!!!!!!

me: (in my head...that's it, I'm done..UGH! Stop crying! It's just a toy) REID....stop IT!!!
(now I'm starting to sound like HIM!)

R: But MOM....Your so PRETTY!!! cry, cry , cry....
(gotta give it to him...he's got skills)

We've been on a kick lately....2 weeks ago, we went up to the Santa Rosa Plateau and hiked with the kids, they had a blast.

Well this past weekend we decided to go somewhere new...Ghost Mountain in Borrego Springs....we had a blast. We saw a house that was built on top of one of the mountains in the area in the 1930's and the story of why the family lived there was quite interesting. There were also some Petroglyphs and Mortero's that we hiked to see...We had such a good day, the kids hiked 5 or more miles and they did so well.
