Eat Your Heart Out

We had the most AMazing dinner the other night, 12 courses which included Artichoke soup, Pumpkin Ravioli, Filet Mignon, Passion fruit Pots DE Creme. and orange rolls to die for...and on, and on...My mouth is watering. Byron and Chessa did not disappoint again. The food was AWESOME!!!! Byron serving up one of the creations...

We all sat at different tables, and switched around every few courses.

It was so much fun...I think we all ate for 3+ straight hours...

I know I need to update, but there is nothing going on...just the usual, getting ready for christmas....dentist for Jack, Reid bonked his eye and has a cut, Lulu just being cute. That's it...

I am tired...

So....TWILIGHT was great...Edward grew on me, Rosalie, not so much...Bella, good. The company was exceptional as always, and I am lucky to have these fun friends...CPK, dissecting the movie was good times...I may need to see it again, and again....after I take a nap of course...

Oh yea! guess who was awake when I got home? Lulu, what the...sweet and smiling and clapped when I walked in the door...can't blame her...I can be clap worthy sometimes, not at 2:30 am though...that goes to Brad who then turned around and woke up like 2 hours later...

Oh! Fall how I love thee....

I absolutely love this time of year, having children injects such new enthusiasm and joy into the holidays for me....they get so excited, therefore I get equally as excited, actually more so...I am so blessed!

Absolutely SPEECHLESS...except to say, isn't she the most beautiful flower...


So we hit up the Halloween Carnie with The other Gharring's (love it!) and the boys had a blast...totally fitting that Reid is a monkey, which is what he is in everyday life...a monkey. And of course My "Heroes" Jack and Luke.

Again...no words.

It is so hard to get everyone to cooperate with pics at this age...so this is the best that I could do with 3 small kids...not too bad, they're all looking at the camera at least!

Happy Birthday shout out to my wonderful husband....who is turning the big THREE TWO today...

I love my husband because...He makes me smarter by sharing his VAST amount of knowledge with me daily... He is a UTE graduate, but absolutely loves BYU football...He seriously makes me laugh so hard, like laugh crying hard...He is kind...He is honest (like when he told me a dress I bought looked like a witch's dress, I still like it though and no it doesn't) ...He works his heart out for his family...so I can stay home....He truly is my best friend...

A camping we will go...

I think I am the last to post about our weekend adventure, but oh well. We were lucky enough to tag a long with The Gharring's (Chad and Rach), The Brays, The Lundquists and of course The Konold's on the beach camping excursion this past weekend. Thanks guys for a fun weekend!

5 Things I am grateful for at this very moment:

5. Though things change in life so rapidly, I am thankful to have the "hope" that things change for the better!

4. I was walking Jack to school this morning and it was brisk and overcast and I love putting sweaters on the kids..

2. The way I still secretly (well, it was a secret before now) get nervous and excited for Brad to get home from work...

1. At this moment I get to hear the 2 sweetest sounds; Reid's ability to imaginative play with anything (his dialouge is priceless) and Lulu's babble babble's.

Aah I feel better...

I feel a CHANGE coming....

NO, I don't mean the election...save that for another time...ha!

My oldest baby started Kindergarten in the middle of August and to tell you the truth, I think I have been in shock...

We headed down to the school to find out who his teacher was with our friends and neighbors, I guess it would be an accurate description to describe him as "Jumping Jack" he was so excited, as was I, but I was nervous too...
Turns out there was nothing to be nervous about, He loves his teacher (so do I) and he LOVES school... and I only cried the entire first couple of days, and drove by like a stalker MOM about 3 times...ok, ok 4 times. (I just missed him.)
After the long day, he was pooped...But, NO REST FOR THE WEARY...the kid has 3 pages of homework a night not including: Sight word memorization and of course reading 30 min. a night....Seriously He's only 5...give the kids a break...Jack doesn't mind though...He gets excited to do Homework, what?!

OOhtah!

I was lucky enough to go to back to Utah for a week with Brad's mom and we stayed in Park City...I saw my family too! It was so good to see my family and cute sisters and of course for all of them to see

Beautiful Lucy girl...{they hadn't seen her since she was born} We went to Cascade Springs one day and went to Heber to eat lunch and then went to Provo, hung out and the kids got to feed the goats and Llama that are in the farm behind my parents house...that farm has been there the entire time we have lived there...I never thought it was of significant value until the kids were born, now I Know how lucky we are to have that...it's like our own little petting zoo, except we can't touch them....just feed em'...

Another day we went to Thanksgiving Point and went to the petting zoo and the Dinosaur Museum and Imax movie about Dinosaurs...the boys were in Heaven...so excited...they love dinosaurs and Grammy and Grampy...

This sweet little boy says the most hilarious things....

{Reid goes in the pantry for an afternoon snack.
Mom holds up 2 choices; fruit leather or granola bar.}


Mom: Which one do you want?
Reid: Umm...Fruit snack (as he calls it.)

* Reid then proceeds to 'cut the cheese' rather loudly...*

Mom: Did you just toot?
Reid: Yes...(so matter of fact)
Mom: Stinky
Reid: No, you stinky mommy.

*Reid then walks away, AND 'cuts the cheese' again! *

"Look at what I can do"

Jack learned how to ride a bike with out training wheels a couple of weeks ago...I have been asking (nagging:))Brad all summer to teach him to ride it and Brad was not in to it... (he later admitted he didn't want to because he was afraid Jack would get too frustrated, Jack always wants to be perfect at everything the 1st time trying anything new)...But Jack (and Micheal) seriously picked it up so quickly..in fact, I think Brad helped hold him maybe 2 times and he was off...now he can skid his tires, ride with his feet on the middle bar, one handed, standing up...all like he seriously has been riding for years...

The look says it all...He is so proud of himself...
He seriously asks to ride his bike first thing in the morning and last thing at night....He can't get enough.
Jack's friend Micheal, his partner in crime for this activity...They both did so well.

Daddy Date

B and Jack had a date last week...they went to the Padre's game and had so much fun...good job B for taking such awesome pics... They hitched a ride into the stadium with a bike cab....

B even let him have cotton candy....I love that he will spend one on one time with all of the kids, even Lulu...I think it is so important that they individually feel that they are special and loved...Reid gets his turn after our trip to Utah in a couple of weeks, so they each get a turn...I am so lucky to have such a wonderful dad for a husband...

I didn't get the itch....

Well the saying goes....The seven Year itch....sorry to disappoint but I didn't get it....I am so happy to be married to such a wonderful, funny, hot, hard working man...He is such a great dad and I am so lucky that I get to hang with my best friend...Here's to many more anniversaries...

I had to throw this in even though it's kind of blurry...because I love having a girl...you get to paint their toes...I was literally giggling when I was doing this...unfortunately I can't do it anymore, because she just discovered she can eat her feet...so no more painted toes...don't want her to eat the nail polish off...
