Excited

I am so excited and rejuvenated. I had my follow up ultrasound yesterday(the last one came back with some questions so they sent me for another one, scary!) and I have a perfect little girl waiting to be born... I finally feel like I can just enjoy this pregnancy and be excited for this new, different addition. I am so GRATEFUL for great friends and family and this time of year where I can reflect on what's REALLY important. Strong, healthy kids, my wonderful, hard working, handsome husband, and the BEST family and friends. I am so blessed and lucky! And I have only 66 days to go!!

lots to come

We have had lots go on in the last couple of weeks, therefore not really anytime to update. Brad and I went to a Chargers game; we had really good seats 30 yard line like 15 rows up. It was sooo much fun. Then we went to the BYU/ SDSU game with Chad and Rach, Julie and a couple of other families. Disneyland this past weekend, spur of the moment decision on Brad's part... We woke up Saturday and decided to go within an hour. We had so much fun and got to ride all of the rides, Jack was even tall enough this time to ride the Star Wars ride as well as Splash Mountain. He thought he was so cool and very big. You know what ride my kids didn't like this time or the last time we went.. it was the snow white ride, it totally freaked them out. I have to remember that for next time! Reid was pretending he was asleep, so cute, but sad. I felt like I was torturing them.
And of course my kids have been sick like everyone else. Jack got a really bad ear infection, his first one. Let me tell you 5 days of not leaving the house, stuck inside with sick kids and a sick pregnant lady... not fun. I will download some pics. in the next couple of days. I hope everyone is doing well.
Merry Christmas!!!!

Rockband

We just got the game Rock band and we had "band practice" last night after Thanksgiving dinner. We had a lot of fun, especially when the Gharring boys sang. It is an experience I suggest trying at least once!
The game comes with guitar like guitar hero, but it also comes with microphone (which scores the pitch and constants) and drum set. I'm not a fan of Karoke, but this game is seriously so fun. It has good music too, like The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Radiohead. Anyone want to play just head over to our house!

Better Late Than Never...

Jack and Luke, both Spiderman and we didn't even plan it that way! They thought they were so cool!

Jack, Reid, Abby and Luke. Halloween night.
I had to throw this one in... because I love bath pictures. Baby Beck's first bath with his cousins... The boys did really well with him, they can get kind of wild during bathtime. Good news for when Lucy comes.

I've been tagged...

Okay Rachel (my awesome Sister in Law) tagged me a couple of days ago and I've been lazy, but here it goes...

1. I hate cheese. I know it's weird to most of you, but I hate it. It's all stringy and stinky and greasy, not to mention fattening. :)

2. I cry so easily, I don't know what it is, but I do. Every time I had to do a lesson or give a talk in YW I cried, seriously, (ask my young women.) I know so pathetic. I wouldn't say I get my feelings hurt easily, but I am sensitive. awww.

3. I love concerts. My first concert was Jesus Jones in Elementary School, I went with my dad. I don't know how many concerts I've been to, but there have been A LOT. I go when I'm pregnant, Brad and I went to Beck and The Flaming Lips in Utah when I was pregnant with Jack, Colplay in San Diego when I was pregnant with Reid. Yeah it's hot, a pregnant lady rocking out.

4. I love to Organize... I should be a professional organizer.

5. I've recently taken up a real interest in cooking and trying out new recipes. I love it. I love getting new recipes and trading with other people.

6. I have always wanted to get into cycling. I see them riding by our house everyday and I want to be them. I love spinning class at the gym, I have the clip in shoes and everything. I just need the bike. and the spandex. ewww. I really want to get a bike after I've had the baby...

Okay, So boring I know... so I tag: Allie, Cheryl, Amanda, Lindsay and Shannon.

Do you see what I see?

I hope you don't see what I see... Here are some pictures from my front windows upstairs and the our bedroom window. Pretty humbling. I am just so grateful for the safety of our family and friends.

This is looking to the left from our house. Towards Chad and Rach's house. South East Temecula.
This is out the back window looking towards the 2-15 area.

This is looking toward Brad's parents house. South West Temecula, De Luz area.

Movin'

Have you ever had "that" song that gets you going and makes you happy. Well I go through "that" song often, seeing as music is pretty much on ALL the time in our house, up really loud, actually even louder when Brad's home and we have the family dance offs. Anyway, I am in love with the first song on my playlist: Kings of Leon, "knocked up". Maybe it's because I am pregnant right now, but it makes me happy and dance around the house. Jack even sings along with "she's going to have a baby". I want to know what other songs make you want to dance so send them my way. Maybe it will be the next "that".

Yeah, my kid's have dancin' skills...

GT's

I had to add this picture from last weekend, we went to Diamond Valley Lake and wanted to take a walk, there was no where to walk expect this little path for like 50 feet. The kids had a fun time though, they got to throw rocks. Seriously what's better than throwing rocks.

We went to Julian, Ca on Saturday. Besides the fact that the apple picking fields were closed we had a great time. It's the town's "Apple Days" and they had a little street fair, so we got the kid's some balloons. Reid got a sword which he popped 5 min. later (I know, I really did expect that to happen.)
Jack got a "ninja hat" with a sword. He later surrendered it to Reid so they could both have one.

Brad holding Todd and Britt's baby Beck, Jack and Todd. I am trying to figure out how to add more pictures to the bottom of this but I can't. Anyways Todd and Britt met us up there as well as their friends Deidre and Mark. I have a couple more pictures of them and if I can figure it out I'll put them up.

UGHHH

So today I went to the Dr.'s for my 20 week checkup, being told by the staff that I would have my ultrasound. I hadn't told them that we already had an ultrasound to see what the sex would be on purpose because I didn't want them "looking" for the certain part. So not only did I not get one, well not a real one (I coaxed them into doing one on the dinky one's they have for when you first find out your pregnant, so the quality not so good.) I not only have to go to the radiology dept. to get one but they told me I could be having a boy, the cord was in the way so they couldn't tell if it was the cord or just boy parts. I don't think it's a boy because honestly with the other 2 boys we could DEFINITELY tell they were boys if you know what I mean. So it's just added that little seed of doubt in my mind and now I'm kind of freaking out. I love boys and was actually shocked to see it was a girl, but now I'm excited for a girl. I don't know.
I guess we'll see....

Newport Beach

We went to Newport Beach in August and met up with Brad's Aunt and Uncle, Susan and Steve and their kids. Susan is so great and took some cute pictures of the boys and I thought I would put them up. We love it when they come out and let us crash their vacation! Thanks for the pictures Susan!

Jack doesn't like to Humor me anymore with pictures unless I threaten violence so to get one where he is not doing spidy-webs or some goofy face is a miracle, and I don't care anymore if he even looks at the camera.

The boys were looking for sand crabs, it's Jack's favorite thing to do at the beach.
Okay, I honestly can't tell if Reid is laughing or crying, but either way I still like it and it is not uncharacteristic to do both at the same time.

We went to The Spaghetti Factory for dinner, which is the kids favorite food.

Evidence is on the faces how good it was!

Thanks for checking in on us. I will probably have more pictures this weekend because we're off the Julian this weekend for some apple picking and yummy apple pie!

Trouble

Okay the real reason I haven't put any new pictures up is not laziness, it's because our computer crashed (I think) for the SECOND time in a year. I have no pictures on this laptop except the ones I just downloaded from my camera 10 minutes ago.. So here are some of the pics.

I know everyone thinks that their kid is the cutest and so do I. I snuck a picture of Jack on picture day for Soccer.

There he is in his first game throwing in.

His team Blue Dragons, he's on the team with his cousin Luke, and new friends Shea and Mick. Mostly he's excited to see his best friend Luke.

These are of Jack and Reid and they were coloring in the backyard and Jack drew a picture of his sister Lucy, beautiful I must add. So I had to get some pictures of my little artists. Well that's all for now... Thanks for checking in.

Girl Anyone?

Well what can I say surprised, shocked were just a few reactions to finding out that we were going to have a baby girl. I didn't even let myself even think it was possible because the odds were not in our favor, I didn't think Brad and I had it in us to make a girl. We are so excited and it seems so is everyone else (no one said so until after the fact, they didn't want to hurt our feelings... Thanks:)) So there she is our little girl... Lucy anyone? Anyway she has atleast one brother who "told us so" and is so excited to have a some more females around our house. Jack is so excited. Reid doesn't know what is going on, we just hope that this baby gets atleast his eyelashes, right?

old news

Well I tried to copy and paste and to my astonishment it wouldn't let me.. ha.(Because I am such a genius on computers.) Anyways, what I will have to do is to just post a link to our old site so here it is http://www.xanga.com/gharrings1. There I've done it. I guess it's official.

switching over

Well I guess I have finally switched over from our xanga blog site to blogger. Hopefully I will be more consistent with this blog. What I hope to do is to paste all of our previous blogs from the old site to this one. The dates might not match but at least I won't have to start all over. Here goes...
