She's so Lovely!!!!

Introducing: LUCY MAE GHARRING
Born Monday Feb. 18 5:13 am. 8lbs. 3oz. 20 inches long.
So here's my awesome story!
Most of you know that I can't go into labor on my own, the boys wanted to stay in there forever... So Saturday I was contracting ALL day, but they weren't really consistent in time every 10 min. for a while then every 7 minutes then every 14 min. We went to the hospital anyways and they checked me, I was a 3! but no change while I was there, so they sent me home. I continued contracting and couldn't sleep Friday, or Saturday nights. Sunday, woke up still contracting but they were getting stronger, but I kept saying that I am not going back until she's ready to pop out, so all day went like that where I would have to stop and take breaths, but I was determined... Sunday night at 1:30 am, I woke Brad up and said "OK we have to go now"... the car ride was rough and I was kind of getting freaked out because I had always been in the hospital with pain like this. We get to the hospital at 2 or 2:15am and they checked me I was a 6 (I was so proud of myself), they were so fast got me hooked up to the IV and got my epidural and then I was feeling good, thinking I could rest a little bit, no, Lucy wanted out. They came back and I was an 8, then they broke my water and a 1/2 hour later I was ready to push. I had 3 contractions and pushed 6 times and she came! I was feeling so good! I literally was ready to walk out of there. It was so nice!!! A nice way to end the pregnancy and possibly be done having kids, except it was so good it makes me think maybe 1 more...(don't tell Brad ) :)

Chelsea Congratulations! She is beautiful, and to have a good experience on top of that. You look so good, I can't believe you just had a baby in that picture. I am so glad that you were in Utah and not the sick hospitals in Temecula- because the experience wouldn't have been the same. Rest up, take care of yourself. Kiss that baby for us.
