I feel a CHANGE coming....

NO, I don't mean the election...save that for another time...ha!

My oldest baby started Kindergarten in the middle of August and to tell you the truth, I think I have been in shock...

We headed down to the school to find out who his teacher was with our friends and neighbors, I guess it would be an accurate description to describe him as "Jumping Jack" he was so excited, as was I, but I was nervous too...
Turns out there was nothing to be nervous about, He loves his teacher (so do I) and he LOVES school... and I only cried the entire first couple of days, and drove by like a stalker MOM about 3 times...ok, ok 4 times. (I just missed him.)
After the long day, he was pooped...But, NO REST FOR THE WEARY...the kid has 3 pages of homework a night not including: Sight word memorization and of course reading 30 min. a night....Seriously He's only 5...give the kids a break...Jack doesn't mind though...He gets excited to do Homework, what?!

Hey Chelsea

Don't worry...I think I cried for 6 months last year, when Ben went to school. Seriously though, I can't believe they get all that homework...(I don't think I managed 30 minutes of anything in my whole school career ;o) )

Enjoy being a car-park mum! xoxo

I can't believe how big he looks, it's so crazy he's old enough for school!

I totally was a stalker mom - I remember going to the school and actually jumping up and down to look over a fence while Trent was eating his snack, just to make sure he was doing ok. Our boys are growing up to fast, it is crazy that they are in kindergarten already. I went through a mini depression for Lukes first week of school, it was pretty rough on me, him, being my baby!

Wow. It is so hard when the first goes to school. You think, am I seriously old enough to have a child in school. You miss them but they have so much fun maybe we are secretly jealous of all the fun they are having.

Welcome to the world of school. I thought we did our time? You will learn though, we get to do it all over again... (ha,ha)

You are so funny Chels! But I too know how you feel especially now that I have two kids in school! I was totally having separation anxiety when Weston started pre-school! I mean he's gone from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. everyday and he rides the bus! He seems to little for all that! But he loves it! Sorry for the novel comment!
